Shape your future
As a multimedia designer, you shape visual elements and concepts for a creative, stylish, and functional design for the client. You will create creative and eye-catching animations for our clients using programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. You translate the clients’ assortments into attractive digital menuboards and order kiosks. What does your work look like in practice? One of your future colleagues will tell you.
A day as a multimedia designer at Skippify starts at the office with a cup of coffee from a fancy bean machine, a brief moment before creativity really kicks in. Emails and the calendar are checked, and then I start working on open assignments from clients. Every day is different: one moment I’m adjusting images in an animation, the next I’m setting up new features in our order kiosk app. In between, I stay in constant contact with the client to make sure everything meets their needs perfectly.
At lunchtime, we eat together as colleagues. Afterwards, we sometimes take a short walk to get some fresh air and step away from the screen. Then I start preparing for an afternoon workshop. Together with the client, I explore strategic goals and how our solutions can help bring their vision to life.
After a workshop, the real work begins: designing and developing interactive multimedia experiences. We take the needs and preferences identified during the session and turn them into creative, effective solutions for our products. I am involved throughout the entire creative process, from concept to final product and ongoing maintenance.
