Shape your future
As a multimedia designer, you shape visual elements and concepts for a creative, stylish, and functional design for the client. You will create creative and eye-catching animations for our clients using programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. You translate the clients’ assortments into attractive digital menuboards and order kiosks. What does your work look like in practice? One of your future colleagues will tell you.
A day as a multimedia designer at Skippify starts at the office with a cup of coffee from a fancy bean machine, a brief moment before creativity really kicks in. Emails and the calendar are checked, and then I start working on open assignments from clients. No day is the same: one moment I adjust images in an animation video, the next I configure new actions in our order kiosk application. In between, there is constant contact with the client to ensure everything perfectly meets their needs.
At lunchtime, we as colleagues eat together. Afterwards, we sometimes take a short walk to get some fresh air and take a break from the screen. Then I start preparing for an afternoon workshop. Together with the client, I consider strategic goals and how our products can help realize their vision.
After such a workshop, the real work begins: designing and developing interactive multimedia experiences. We focus on the needs and preferences identified during the workshop and translate them into creative and effective solutions for our products. I am involved in the entire creative process, from concept to final product and subsequent maintenance.
