Statiegeld Nederland wanted to make that journey visible while ensuring consistent communication across a growing network of locations. Together with Skippify, a scalable Smart Signage platform was rolled out that informs, activates, and invites visitors to step inside.

Statiegeld Nederland plays a central role in the Dutch deposit return system. Across the Netherlands, the organization works to efficiently collect and process deposit packaging. This isn’t just about logistics — it’s also about awareness. Visitors need to understand why deposits matter and what happens after a package is returned. With a growing network of locations, the need for a unified, scalable communication solution became clear.
Every location tells the same story, but not every visitor walks in with the same knowledge.
Statiegeld Nederland needed a way to inform visitors from the outside while creating space inside for deeper engagement and education.
The solution also had to be easily scalable. The existing network of over twenty locations is expected to grow by another fifteen to twenty new locations this year.
