Our client
De IJsmaker is a Dutch ice cream concept with five locations, one of which is in Antwerp. The brand stands for artisanal ice cream, a strong design concept and an instantly recognisable retail experience.
The range changes by day and by location. Guests choose from daily fresh flavours that are constantly changing.
The challenge
With a growing number of locations and a dynamic range, the ordering process had to move with the brand without disrupting the experience.
The ambition was clear: route every order through kiosks, with support for both card and cash payments, and an interface that visualises the current offering at a glance.
The solution
Skippify delivered an end-to-end Smart Ordering environment with twenty kiosks across five locations.
The order kiosks support both digital and cash payments via integrated payment solutions, and run on a custom interface where guests can browse and select the current flavours visually.
All content, flavours and prices are managed centrally via Skippify Suite and rolled out automatically to every location.

A formula that works on every screen
De IJsmaker shows that Smart Ordering works just as well in premium retail. The order kiosks reinforce the experience rather than replace it. With twenty order kiosks, a custom interface and an integrated LED experience, this is a partnership that has been growing alongside the brand since 2019.
Stack scoops Taste the fun
At the order kiosk, guests build their perfect ice cream by choosing their favourite cone and adding their scoops. The extra-fun part: the build is shown visually on screen as they put it together.
The interface has been fully developed in De IJsmaker’s brand identity by Skippify’s in-house studio.
The technology
The order kiosks run entirely on the Skippify Suite platform, with A-brand hardware and integrated payment modules.
At the Witte de Withstraat location, a full Smart LED wall has also been installed around the order kiosks. This combination of ordering and visual impact reinforces the retail experience and immediately draws attention.
The dynamic menu boards at every location are driven by content from the Skippify in-house studio.
